WATER SUPPLY AUTHORITIES ACT 1987—REGULATION

(Relating to the area of operations of the Upper Parramatta River

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Water Supply Authorities Act 1987, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 15th April 1994.

Amendment

2 . The Water Supply Authorities (Areas of Operations) Regulation 1987 is amended by inserting in clause 3 (2) after the words “at Parramatta” the words “, not including the area shown bounded by a red line on the map marked “Upper Parramatta River Catchment Trust— Excluded Area” and deposited in the office of the Department of Water Resources at Parramatta”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The Upper Parramatta River Catchment Trust exercises general river management functions within a prescribed area of the upper Parramatta River. The object of this Regulation is to exclude a particular area from the area of operations of that Trust. The area excluded is shown on a map deposited in the office of the Department of Water Resources at Parramatta.

This Regulation is made under section 13 (1) (Area of operations) and section 66 (Regulations) of the Water Supply Authorities Act 1987.
