I, the Minister for Primary Industries, in pursuance of section 45 (1) (a) of the Water Management Act 2000, being satisfied it is in the public interest to do so, make the following Order to amend the Water Sharing Plan for the Murrumbidgee Regulated River Water Source 2003.

Explanatory note

object of this Order is to amend the Water Sharing Plan for the Murrumbidgee Regulated Rivers Water Source 2003. The concurrence of the Minister for the Environment was obtained prior to the making of this Order.

This Order is the Water Sharing Plan for the Murrumbidgee Regulated River Water

Source Amendment Order (No 2) 2013.

2 Commencement

This Order commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

Schedule 1 Amendment of Water Sharing Plan for the Murrumbidgee Regulated

River Water Source 2003

[1]      Clause 53 Rules relating to constraints within a water source

Omit clause 53 (8). Insert instead:

(8)  A dealing is prohibited if the application for assignment of water allocations from a regulated
river (high security) access licence water allocation account is received after:

(a)	1 September in any water year prior to the 2014-15 water year, or
(b)	31 May in the 2014-15 water year or any water year thereafter,

Omit “the last day of the month of February” from the end of the paragraph. Insert instead “31 May”.

[3]      Clause 57 Rules for water allocation assignment between water sources

Omit “31 January” from clause 57 (6). Insert instead “31 May”.

[4]      Clause 58 Rules for interstate assignment of water allocations

Omit “31 January” from clause 58 (5). Insert instead “30 April”.
