Water Services Licensing (Plumbers Licensing

and Plumbing Standards) Amendment

Regulations 2009

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Water Services Licensing (Plumbers
Licensing and Plumbing Standards) Amendment
Regulations 2009.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.            Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Water Services Licensing
(Plumbers Licensing and Plumbing Standards)
Regulations 2000.

section 60C(3) as a class A qualification; or

4.            Regulation 3 amended

In regulation 3(1) delete the definition of apprentice and insert:

apprentice means a person who is an apprentice under
a training contract registered under the Vocational
Education and Training Act 1996 Part 7 Division 2;

5.            Schedule 3 amended

In Schedule 3 delete clause 3(a)(ii) and insert:

(ii) a qualification in plumbing or gasfitting that

has been classified under the Vocational
Education and Training Act 1996

(iii) a Western Australian qualification

determined by the Board as equivalent to a qualification referred to in subparagraph (i) or (ii);
