Water Services Act 2012 Commencement

Proclamation 2013

Made under the Water Services Act 2012 section 2(b) by the Governor in
Executive Council.

1.             Citation

This proclamation is the Water Services Act 2012
Commencement Proclamation 2013.

2.             Commencement of Act

The Water Services Act 2012 comes into operation as follows —

(a)	Act other than sections 1, 2 and 68 and Part 4 Division 4, on the first Monday after the day on which this proclamation is published in the Government Gazette;
(b)	section 68 and Part 4 Division 4, on 1 January 2014.

Note: 

The provisions of the regulations and by-laws published in the Gazette in
which this proclamation is published come into operation on the first Monday
after the day on which this proclamation is published. The exceptions to this
are:

	regulations 1 and 2 and by-laws 1 and 2 of all the regulations and by-laws other than the Water Services Regulations 2013 and the Water Services (Water Corporations Charges) Regulations 2013;
	the Water Services Regulations 2013 regulation 30.
