s1 2 s4 Water Resources (Watercourse Protection) No. 130, 1995 Amendment (No. 1) ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Water Resources (Watercourse Protection) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1995 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. This regulation amends the WaterResources(WatercourseProtection) Regulation 1993 . ˙ Amendment of s 2 (Destruction of vegetation in a watercourse) 3.(1) Section 2(1)(a), ‘or the Petroleum Act 1923 ’— omit . (2) Section 2(1)(b) and (c)— renumber as paragraphs (c) and (d). (3) Section 2(1)— insert— ‘(b) a licence, permit, lease or authority to prospect under the Petroleum Act 1923 ; or’. ˙ Amendment of s 3 (Excavation in a watercourse) 4.(1) Section 3(a), ‘or the Petroleum Act 1923 ’— omit . (2) Section 3(b)— renumber as paragraph (c). (3) Section 3— insert— ‘(b) a licence, permit, lease or authority to prospect under the Petroleum Act 1923 ; or’.

Section 4(a)— omit, insert— ‘(a) the placing of the fill is performed by a person under— (i) a licence, claim, permit or lease under the MineralResources Act 1989 ; or (ii) a licence, permit, lease or authority to prospect under the Petroleum Act 1923 ; or’.
