s1 2 s4 Water Resources (North Burdekin Water Board No. 139, 1995 Sugarcane Assessment) ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Water Resources (North Burdekin Water Board Sugarcane Assessment) Regulation 1995 . ˙ Authority to levy assessment—Act, s 9.42 2. The North Burdekin Water Board may make and levy on the owners of the Kalamia Sugar Mill and the Pioneer Sugar Mill an assessment at the rate of $1.17 per tonne of sugarcane received at the owner’s mill during the last sugarcane crushing season before 28 February 1996. ˙ Proportions of assessment payable—Act, s 9.42 3. An assessment under section 2 is payable by the following persons in the following proportions— (a) the mill owner—33 1 / 3 %; (b) the growers of the sugarcane received at the mill—66 2 / 3 %. ˙ Repeal 4.
