Water Regulations Amendment (Strata Titles)

Regulations 2019

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

Part 1 — Preliminary

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Water Regulations Amendment (Strata
Titles) Regulations 2019.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a) Part 1 — on the day on which these regulations are

published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day on which the

Strata Titles Amendment Act 2018 section 4 comes into operation.

3.             Regulations amended

This Part amends the Water Services Regulations 2013.

4.             Regulation 3 amended

In regulation 3(1) delete the definition of unit and insert:

unit includes a lot in a strata scheme and a lot in a
survey-strata scheme as those terms are defined in the
Strata Titles Act 1985 section 3(1);

5.             Regulation 28B amended

In regulation 28B in the definition of vacant lot delete

“section 7(6).” and insert:

section 3(1).

6.             Regulations amended

This Part amends the Water Services (Water Corporations
Charges) Regulations 2014.

7.             Regulation 16 amended

In regulation 16(1) delete the definition of lot and insert:

lot means a lot in a strata scheme or a lot in a
survey-strata scheme as those terms are defined in the

Strata Titles Act 1985 section 3(1);
