An Ordinance to amend the Water Rates Ordinance 1959

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Water Rates {Amendment) Ordinance

1981. 1

Principal Ordinance

2. In this Ordinance, "Principal Ordinance" means the Water Rates

Ordinance 1959.2

Application

4. (1) The amendments of the Principal Ordinance effected by Part 1 of the table in section 3 apply to and in relation to rates imposed in respect of the rating year that commenced on 1 July 1981 and each subsequent rating year.

(2) The amendments of the Principal Ordinance effected by Part 2 of the table in section 3 apply to and in relation to rates imposed in respect of water supplied in the first meter reading period that ends on or after 1 July 1982 and in each subsequent meter reading period.

(3) An expression in this section that is defined in the Principal Ordinance as amended by this Ordinance has tne same meaning for the purposes of this section as it has in the Principal Ordinance as so amended.
