An Ordinance to amend the Water Rates Ordinance 1959

Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910.

WATER RATES ( A M E N D M E N T ) O R D I N A N C E 1980

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Water Rates (Amendment)

Ordinance 1980.1

Principal Ordinance

2. In this Ordinance, "Principal Ordinance" means the Water	Rates
Ordinance	1959. 2
after "unit".

Rates—one residential unit, house with flat and schools, &c.

3. Section 6 of the Principal Ordinance is amended—

(a)	by omitting from sub-paragraph ( l ) ( b ) ( i i ) "a school, church or ecclesiastical establishment" and substituting "a school or church or an ecclesiastical establishment"; and
(b)	by omitting from sub-section (3) "a school, church or ecclesiastical es­ tablishment" and substituting "a school or church or an ecclesiastical establishment".

Rates—more than one residential unit, excluding house with flat

4. Section 7 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by inserting in para­
graph (a) ", not being a building containing only a dwelling-house and a flat"
