WATER RATES

An Ordinance to amend the Water Rates Ordinance

1959-1966.

1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Water Rates Ordinance 1967.*

(2.) The Water Rates Ordinance 1959-1966f is in this Ordinance referred to as the Principal Ordinance.

(3.) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordi­
nance, may be cited as the Water Rates Ordinance 1959-1967.

2 . After section 9 of the Principal Ordinance the following section is inserted:—

" 10.—(1.) In addition to other rates imposed under this Ordinance, a special rate of Twenty-four dollars for a rating year is imposed in respect of—

(a) each parcel of land in sections 1 to 15 (inclusive)

of the Hall District; and

(b) each parcel of land outside those sections that, upon the request of the owner or lessee of the parcel, is connected to the Hall water supply system.

" (2.) In this section,' the Hall water supply system' means the extension to the existing system of works to enable water to be supplied to land in the Hall District.".

3 . Section 12 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting from sub-section (1.) the words " or eight" and insert­ ing in their stead the words ", eight or ten ".
