His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following

Regulation under the Water NSW Act 2014.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to enable the Minister to delegate the exercise of any function of the Minister under the Water NSW Act 2014 or the regulations under that Act (other than an excluded function) to the chief executive officer of Water NSW.

This Regulation is made under the Water NSW Act 2014, including sections 110 (1) (c) and 114 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Water NSW Amendment (Delegation) Regulation 2014.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 January 2015 and is required to be published on the
NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Water NSW Regulation 2013

Clause 33A

Insert after clause 33:

33A Delegation by Minister

The chief executive officer is authorised for the purposes of section 110 of the Act.
