Water Management (Sydney Olympic Park Authority) Regulation 2001 (NSW)

1Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Water Management (Sydney Olympic Park Authority) Regulation 2001.

2Definitions

In this Regulation:

SOPA means the Sydney Olympic Park Authority constituted by the Sydney Olympic Park Authority Act 2001.

Sydney Olympic Park Development Area has the same meaning as in the Sydney Olympic Park Authority Act 2001.

the Act means the Water Management Act 2000.

3Area of operations

For the purposes of the definition of area of operations in section 283 of the Act, and section 289 (1) of the Act, the area of operations of SOPA is the Sydney Olympic Park Development Area.

4Functions

For the purposes of section 289 (2) of the Act, SOPA has, and may exercise, in its area of operations only such functions as relate to the Water Reclamation and Management Scheme at Sydney Olympic Park, including:

• (a)

  the collection of waste water, and

• (b)

  the treatment of waste water, and

• (c)

  the distribution of treated water.
