I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Water Management Act 1999 .11 October 2004

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Water Management (River Clyde Temporary Water Allocation) Regulations 2004 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3InterpretationIn these regulations – temporary water allocation means a permission to take water from a water resource, for a period not exceeding 3 months, pursuant to section 90 of the Water Management Act 1999 . 4River Clyde temporary water allocation feeNotwithstanding regulation 14 of and Schedule 4 to the Water Management Regulations 1999 , the fee for a temporary water allocation from the River Clyde water resource for the period commencing on 1 November 2004 and ending at midnight on 30 June 2005 is 13.16 fee units per megalitre for all water allocated. 5ExpiryThese regulations expire on 30 June 2005.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation) These regulations prescribe the fee for taking water from the River Clyde water resource during the period 1 November 2004 to 30 June 2005.
