Sources) Proclamation 2010

Water Management Act 2000

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of sections 55A and 88A of the Water Management Act 2000, make the following Proclamation.

Water Management (Peel Valley Water Sources)

Proclamation 2010

under the

Water Management Act 2000

1      Name of Proclamation

This Proclamation is the Water Management (Peel Valley Water
Sources) Proclamation 2010.

2      Commencement

This Proclamation commences on 1 July 2010 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Definition

In this Proclamation, the Act means the Water Management Act 2000.

4      Application of Act to Peel Valley water sources, access licences and approvals

(1) Part 2 of Chapter 3 of the Act applies to each water source to which the Water Sharing Plan for the Peel Valley Regulated, Unregulated, Alluvium and Fractured Rock Water Sources 2010 applies, and to all categories and subcategories of access licence (other than floodplain harvesting access licences) in relation to any such water source.
(2) Part 3 of Chapter 3 of the Act applies to each water source to which the Water Sharing Plan for the Peel Valley Regulated, Unregulated, Alluvium and Fractured Rock Water Sources 2010 applies, and to all water use approvals and water supply work approvals in relation to any such water source.
