Water Management Amendment Act 2006

An Act to amend the Water Management Act 1999

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Water Management Amendment Act 2006 . 2CommencementThis Act is taken to have commenced on 1 October 2006. 3Principal ActIn this Act, the Water Management Act 1999 is referred to as the Principal Act. 4Section 79 amended (Fees for licences) Section 79(1) of the Principal Act is amended by omitting "granting and holding" and substituting "granting, holding, administration or management". 5Section 304 amended (Fees and charges) Section 304(1) of the Principal Act is amended as follows: (a) by omitting from paragraph (e) "Act." and substituting "Act; and"; (b) by inserting the following paragraph after paragraph (e) : (f) the granting, holding, administration or management of licences.
