Water Management Act 2000 New South Wales

No 92—Proclamation

GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 281 of the Water Management Act 2000, do, by this my Proclamation, amend Schedule 2 to that Act, to take effect as from 1 January 2001, by inserting in alphabetical order in that Schedule the corporate name “Macquarie Generation”.

Explanatory note

The object of this proclamation is to establish Macquarie Generation as a major utility for the purposes of the Water Management Act 2000. Macquarie Generation has previously been a water management authority (equivalent to a major utility) under the Water Act 1912.
