Water (Long Service Leave) Amendment Regulations 2014

The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Water (Long Service Leave) Regulations 2011 to provide that certain periods when an employee of a water corporation is receiving payments of compensation under the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 are not included when computing a period of service.

2Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 119 and 324 of the Water Act 1989.

3Computing period of service—service not to be included

In regulation 13(1)(f) of the Water (Long Service Leave) Regulations 2011[1] after "previous enactment" insert "or the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013".
