Water (Irrigation Farm Dams)

The Parliament of Victoria enacts as follows:

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Act is to amend the Water
(Irrigation Farm Dams) Act 2002 to change the
dates of operation of various provisions of that

Act.

2. Commencement

This Act comes into operation on the day on
which it receives the Royal Assent.

3. Changes to commencement provision

(1) In section 2(2) of the Water (Irrigation Farm

Dams) Act 2002, for "1 February 2002" substitute "1 July 2002".

(2) After section 2(2) of the Water (Irrigation Farm

Dams) Act 2002 insert—

"(3) This Act is deemed to have been enacted as

amended by the Water (Irrigation Farm

Dams) (Amendment) Act 2002.".

4. Changes to date references

(1) In section 19(2) of the Water (Irrigation Farm

Dams) Act 2002, in proposed section 51(1A), for
"1 February 2002 and ending on 31 January 2003"
substitute "1 July 2002 and ending on 30 June
2003".

(2) In section 32(3) of the Water (Irrigation Farm Dams) Act 2002, in proposed section 63(4), for "1 February 2003" substitute "1 July 2003".

(3) In section 42(4) of the Water (Irrigation Farm Dams) Act 2002, in proposed section 75(5), for "1 February 2003" substitute "1 July 2003".

(4) In section 56 of the Water (Irrigation Farm

Dams) Act 2002, in proposed section 331(8)(b), for "1 February 2003" substitute "1 July 2003".
