I, IAN GORDON CAMPBELL, Minister for the Environment and Heritage, make this Declaration under paragraph 12 (1) (b) of the Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards Act 2005.

1. Name of Declaration

This Declaration is the Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards Amendment Declaration  28 August 2006 (No. 1).

1. Commencement

This Declaration commences on the day after it is registered.

1. Amendment of Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards Declaration 2005

Schedule 1 amends the Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards Declaration 2005.

1. Laws to be corresponding State‑Territory laws (Act s 12)

For paragraph 12 (1) (b) of the Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards Act 2005, the following State and Territory laws correspond to the Act:

(a)    Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards (New South Wales) Act 2005 (NSW);

(b)    Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards Act 2005 (Vic);

(c)    Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards Act 2005 (Qld);

(d)    Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards Act 2006 (SA);

(e)    Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards Act 2005 (Tas);

(f)    Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards Act 2005 (ACT).
