An Act to amend the Water Boards Act, 1964-1942
[Assented to 12th November, 1947.]
BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:—
1. This Act may be cited as the Water Boards Act Short title.
Amendment Act, 1947, and shall be read as one with the Water Boards Act, 1904-1942, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

(7) From time to time
| (a) | divide a water area into sub-areas; |
(b) define the boundaries of sub-areas;
| (c) | alter the boundaries of sub-areas; |
| (d) | abolish sub-areas. |
| Amendment | 3. Section ninety-two of the principal Act is amended |

by adding thereto after the word "water" in line five the following:—"and, without affecting but in addition to the powers of the Board pursuant to the proviso to section seventy-seven and pursuant to section ninety-two A and subject to section ninety-three of this Act and subject to section two of the Water Boards Amend- ment Act, 1919 (No. 4 of 1919), the Board is hereby authorised and empowered in so doing, subject to the approval of the Minister, to make and levy separate and varying rates in respect of all land in each sub-area."
