Made by the Water Authority of Western Australia with the approval of the

Minister for Water hsources.

Citation

l. These by-laws may be cited as the Water Authority (Charges)
Amendment By-laws (No. 2) 1995.

2.      These by-laws come into operation on 1 July 1995.

Principal by-laws

3.      In these by-laws, the Water Authority (Charges) By-laws 1987* are

referred to as the principal by-laws.

4.       Bylaw 2 (1) of the principal by-laws is amended in the definition of

"Government trading organization" -

(a) in the item commencing "Metropolitan (Perth) Passenger Transport Trust" by deleting "("Transperth")";
(b) by deleting the item commencing "State Energy Commission":

and

(C) by inserting in the appropriate alphabetical positions the
following items -
Electricit Corporation - established under section 4

of t t e Electricity Corporation Act 1984;

17A. (1) The - charges for water supply to strata titled caravan bays are the annual charge per bay set out in Schedule 1, Division 1, Part 1, item 3 together with a quantity charge calculated as follows -

(a) for bays in the metropolitan area, the first 150 kL of

residential usage shown in Schedule 1, Division 1, Part 3 item 1 and water usage over 150 kL is char ed a t the maximum rate for metropolitan non-

resi ! ential usage set out in Schedule 1, Division 1 Part 3, item 5 (a);
(b) for bays in the non-metropolitan area (accordin to the classification of the towdarea set out in ~ c h e a u l e 81, the first 150 kL of water sup lied is charged a t
the rate for non-metropolitan resl a entlal usage shown in Schedule 1, Division l , Part 3, item 3 and water

usage over 150 kL is charged a t the maximum rate for non-metropolitan non-residential usage set out in

The operator of a commercial caravan park may, a t his bays, and as a consequence -

(4) For the purposes of this by-law -

calculated on the number of major fixtures on that property. sewerage available but not connected, the charges w l be $;

(2) Where a metropolitan non-residential property has no by-law 25C, the minimum 1995/1996 charge applicable for one

direct major fixtures, or no shared major fixtures as described in
major fixture, as set out in Schedule 2, Part 2, item 2, is the charge payable for the provision of sewerage to the property.

(3) Where a metropolitan non-residential property is

sewered but any water supply is not metered, or not directly metered, by the Authority, a discharge charge (variable 'W of the formula) will not be used when calculating the appropriate annual charge for sewerage.
