WATER AUTHORITY
WA301 WATER AUTHORITY ACT 1984 WATER AUTHORITY (CHARGES) AMENDMENT BY-LAWS (NO. 2)

Made by the Water Authority of Western Australia with the approval of the
Minister for Water Resources.
Citation
1. These by-laws may be cited as the Water Authority (Charges)

2. After by-law 3 of the Water Authority (Charges) By-laws 1987* thefollowing by-law is inserted —
Minimum charge prior to revaluation
The charges under by-laws 11, 21 and 27 for land which —
3A.
(a)
is the subject of a subdivision or amalgamation of land, or becomes vacant from some other action in the period prior to a general valuation of that land by the Valuer General;
(b)
is, in the opinion of the Authority, intended for residential purposes; and
(c) does not exceed 1 200m2 in area, until a general valuation of that land, are the minimum
charges —
(d)
for water supply, set out in Schedule 1, Part 2, item 1 (a) (iv), 1 (b) (i) or 2 (b);
(e)
for sewerage, set out in Schedule 2, Part 2, item 2 (a) or 3 (d); and
(0 for drainage, set out in Schedule 3, Part 2, item 2 (a),

which correspond to the location of the land.
