WATER AUTHORITY AMENDMENT BY-LAWS 1990

Made by the Water Authority of Western Australia with the approval of the

Minister for Water Resources.

Part 1—Preliminary

Citation

1. These by-laws may be cited as the Water Authority Amendment By-laws

1990.

Application

2. Nothing in these by-laws affects the application after 1 July 1990 of a by-law in force before that day in so far as that by-law relates to a fee or charge for a period commencing before that day or to a fee or charge for any matter or thing done before that day.

Commencement

3. These by-laws shall come into operation on 1 July 1990.

PART 2—COUNTRY AREAS WATER SUPPLY BY-LAWS 1957

Principal by-laws

4. In this Part the Country Areas Water Supply By-laws 1957* are referred

to as the principal by-laws.

By-law 49 repealed and a by-law substituted

5. By-law 49 of the principal by-laws is repealed and the following by-law

is substituted—

49. (1) The fee set out in item 1 (b) of Schedule 2 is the fee payable for
the issue of a water supply plumber's licence per quarter of the year (or
part thereof) for which the licence is issued.

(2) The fee set out in item 1 (c) is the fee payable for the renewal of a

water supply plumber's licence. ".

By-law 96 inserted

6.After by-law 95 of the principal by-laws the following by-law is inserted—

96. Where a person applies to the Authority to have a water supply disconnected or reconnected for the purposes of the redevelopment or consolidation of a serviced property the fee set out in item 14 of Schedule 2 is payable by the person to the Authority. ".
