WATER AUTHORITY AMENDMENT

ACT 1994

AN ACT to amend the Water Authority Act 1984.

[Assented to 8 July 1994.]

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Water Authority Amendment

Act 1994.

Commencement

2.     This Act comes into operation on the day on which it

receives the Royal Assent.

Section 39 amended

3. Section 39 (4) of the Water Authority Act 1984* is

amended —

(a)	by deleting "and" at the end of paragraph (b); and
(b)	by inserting after paragraph (b) the following paragraph —

It

(ba) the cost of subsidizing sewerage schemes which are carried out by local authorities under Part IV of the Health Act 1911 and which were subsidized before 1 July 1993 by the State; and
