Water Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2008 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Water Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2008 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Water Regulation 2002. 3 Amendment of s 82 (Purpose of pt 8) (1) Section 82(3)(a)(viii)— omit, insert— ‘(viii)the upgrade of Enoggera Water Treatment Plant;’. (2) Section 82(3)(b)(iii)— omit, insert— ‘(iii) maximising the sustainable take of water from Leslie Harrison Dam, while maintaining the existing sustainable take of groundwater from North Stradbroke Island; and’. 4 Amendment of s 83 (Definitions for pt 8) (1) Section 83, definitions participating local government and raising of Mt Crosby Weir — omit. (2) Section 83— insert— ‘ participating local government means each of the following local governments— (a) Brisbane City Council; (b) Gold Coast City Council; (c) Ipswich City Council; (d) Lockyer Valley Regional Council; Page 2 2008 SL No. 219
