I, the Lieutenant-Governor and deputy of the Governor, acting under section 2 (2) of the WaterAgencies
Restructure (Transitional and Consequential Provisions) Act 1995, and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, fix 1 January 1996 as the day on which that Act comes into operation, other than the long title, and sections 1 ,2 , 189, 190 and 191.

Note for information:

The commencement of the Water Agencies Restructure (Transitional and Consequential Provisions) Act

1995, as fixed by the above proclamation, also brings into operation the following Acts-

the Water Corporation Act 1995 (No. 70 of 1995)-see	section 2 of that Act;
the Water and Rivers Commission Act 1995 (No. 71 of 1995)-see	section 2 of that Act; and
the Water Services Coordination Act 1995 (No. 72 of 1995)-see	section 2 of that Act.
