WATER ADMINISTRATION ACT 1986—REGULATION

(Amending a citation clause)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Water Administration Act 1986, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Water Administration (Transferred Employees) Regulation 1988 is amended by inserting in clause 1 after the words “(Transferred Employees)” the words “(Savings and Transitional)”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the citation clause of the Water Administration (Transferred Employees) Regulation 1988 so as to reflect the savings and transitional nature of the Regulation. This will more readily identify the Regulation as one that, by virtue of item 18 of Schedule 4 to the Subordinate Legislation Act 1989, is excluded from the operation of that Act and, in particular, from the automatic repeal provisions of section 10 of that Act.

This Regulation is made under the Water Administration Act 1986, including section 25 (the general regulation making power) and clause 14 of Schedule 4.
