WATER ACT 1912—REGULATION

(Relating to fees and water charges)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Water Act 1912, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on the day occurring 28 days after its

publication in the Gazette.

Amendments

2. The Water (Part 5) General Regulations are amended:

(a)

by omitting from Regulation 5 (1) (a) the matter “$47” and by inserting instead the matter “$48”;

(b)

by omitting from Regulation 5 (1) (b) (i), (ii) and (2) the matter “$147” wherever occurring and by inserting instead the matter “$151”;

(c)

by omitting from Regulation 5B the matter “$94” and by inserting instead the matter “$97”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Water (Part 5) General Regulations

to increase by approximately 2.8 per cent the fees payable for the issue and renewal of licences and the water charges for artesian and other bores under Part 5 of the Water Act 1912.
