WATER ACT 1912—REGULATION

(Relating to fees)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Water Act 1912, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on the day occurring 28 days after its publication in the Gazette.

Amendments

2. The Water (Part 8) Regulations are amended by omitting from Regulations 5 (2) and 8 (2) the matter “$177” wherever occurring and by inserting instead the matter “$182”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Water (Part 8) Regulations to increase by approximately 2.8 per cent the fees payable for approvals and renewals of approvals in respect of controlled works on river banks and flood plains under Part 8 of the Water Act 1912.
