WASTE DISPOSAL ACT 1970—REGULATION
(Relating to fees)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Waste Disposal Act 1970, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement
1. This Regulation commences on 10 January 1992.
Amendment
2. The Waste Management Authority Depot Contribution Regulations 1971 are amended by omitting from Regulation 3 (1) the matter “$2.00” and by inserting instead the matter “$2.80”.
EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Regulation is to increase from $2.00 to $2.80 the contribution
payable:
| (a) | for each tonne of waste transported into a depot within the Metropolitan Waste Disposal Region for treatment, storage or disposal (under section 29 of the Waste Disposal Act 1970); and |
| (b) | for each tonne of waste received by the Waste Management Authority at a |
