Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Levy Amendment Regulations 2025

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These regulations are the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Levy Amendment Regulations 2025.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

• (a)

  regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

• (b)

  the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Levy Regulations 2008.

4.Regulation 12 amended

• (1)

  In regulation 12(1) in the description of the variable “R”:

  • (a)

    in paragraph (h) delete “2024 — $129;” and insert:

     

  2024 and before 1 July 2025 — $129;

   
  • (b)

    after paragraph (h) insert:

     

(i)       on or after 1 July 2025 — $133;

• (2)

  In regulation 12(2) in the description of the variable “R”:

  • (a)

    in paragraph (i) delete “2024 — $85.” and insert:

     

  2024 and before 1 July 2025 — $85;

   
  • (b)

    after paragraph (i) insert:

     

(j)       on or after 1 July 2025 — $88.
