Made under the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Amendment

(Container Deposit) Act 2019 section 2(b) by the Governor in Executive

Council.

1.            Citation

This proclamation is the Waste Avoidance and Resource

Recovery Amendment (Container Deposit) Act 2019
Commencement Proclamation 2019.

2.             Commencement of Act

The Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Amendment

(Container Deposit) Act 2019, other than sections 1 and 2, comes

into operation on the day after the day on which this proclamation
is published in the Gazette.

section 6 comes into operation.

Notes: Under section 2(b) of the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Amendment

(Container Deposit) Act (No. 2) 2019, sections 3 and 4 of that Act come into

operation when the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Amendment

(Container Deposit) Act 2019 section 6 comes into operation.

Under regulation 2(b) of the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery

(Container Deposit Scheme) Regulations 2019, the provisions of those

regulations, other than regulations 1 and 2, come into operation when the Waste

Avoidance and Resource Recovery Amendment (Container Deposit) Act 2019
