DISTRICT COURT
APPELLATE JURISDICTION

JUDGE RICHARDS

SHANNON JOHN WARD Applicant/Defendant
and
POLICE Respondent/Plaintiff
IPSWICH
..DATE 16/06/2009
JUDGMENT

1-1

HER HONOUR: I've read the material before I came into Court this morning. The applicant does have a significant traffic history and criminal history, but the affidavits do show that

he has undergone substantial rehabilitation, and perhaps some
growing up since he was sentenced.

And in the circumstances I'm satisfied that having regard to his current character, and his conduct subsequent to the order, that it is appropriate to remove the disqualification immediately. I so order.

MR KELLY: Thank you, your Honour. I'll provide a copy of that order to the registry. That's appropriate in the circumstances.

HER HONOUR: Yes. When we get around to it. We'll do it as quickly as we can.
