REGULATIONS
UNDER THE WAR SERVICE HOMES ACT 1918-1941.*
I, THE
GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations
under the War Service Homes Act 1918-1941.

Amendments of the War Service Homes (Staff)
Regulations.
Furlough.
1. Regulation 71 of the War Service
Homes (Staff) Regulations is amended by omitting from the definition of
“salary” in sub-regulation (5.) the words and figures “any allowance payable
under regulation 91 of these Regulations and”.
Extended
leave or pay in lieu to officers not entitled to furlough.
2. Regulation 72 of the War Service Homes (Staff) Regulations is amended
by omitting from the definition of “salary” in sub-regulation (7.) the words “any allowance payable
under regulation 91 of these
Regulations and”.
Repeal
of Regulation 91.
3. Regulation 91 of the War Service Homes (Staff) Regulations is repealed.
Conditions
of employment.
4. Regulation 99 of the War Service Homes (Staff) Regulations is amended
by omitting from sub-regulation (2.) the
words “meal allowance and child endowment” and inserting in their stead the
words “and meal allowance”.
