REGULATIONS UNDER THE WAR PRECAUTIONS ACT 1914-1916.

advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation
under the

Amendment of the War Precautions (Tin Plates) Regulations.
(Statutory Rules 1917, No. 3, as amended by Statutory Rules 1917, No. 169.)
1. Regulation 3b of the War Precautions (Tin Plates) Regulations is amended—
(
a ) by inserting in sub-regulation (1) thereof after the word “tins” (first occurring) the words “or tin plates”;(
b ) by omitting from sub-regulation (1) thereof the words “of such number or quantity of tins of such description as is specified in the notice”, and inserting in their stead the words “of tins or tin plates of such number or quantity and of such description as is specified in the notice”;(
c ) by inserting in sub-regulation (2) thereof after the word “tins” (wherever occurring) the words “or tin plates”;(
d ) by omitting from sub-regulation (2) thereof the words “10 per centum on such cost” and inserting in their stead the words “such percentage on the cost as the Minister determines”; and(
e ) by inserting in sub-regulations (3), (4) and (5) thereof after the word “tins” (wherever occurring) the words “or tin plates”.
