REGULATION UNDER THE WAR PRECAUTIONS ACT 1914–1916.
I, SIR
JOHN MADDEN, acting as the Deputy of the Governor General in accordance with
the provisions of the Constitution, acting with the advice of the Federal
Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the

War Precautions (Supplementary) Regulations.
(Statutory Rules 1916, No. 97.)
The War Precautions (Supplementary) Regulations are amended by inserting, after Regulation 2 thereof, the following Regulation:—
“2 a . No person shall, after the first day of November, One thousand nine hundred and sixteen, without the authority of the Governor-General or of a Minister of State, proof whereof shall lie upon the person accused, use as the name or part of the name of—(
a ) any private residence, or(
b ) any boat or vehicle, or(
c ) any charitable or other” institution, or any building in conaexion therewith,
the word ‘
Anzac” or any word resembling the word ‘Anzac’, or any word notified by the
Governor-General, by notice in the
