WAR PRECAUTIONS REGULATIONS 1915,
Addition. The following now regulation is inserted after Regulation 12n:—
"12c. (1) In any presecution for an offence against Regula- | Proof of certain |
tion 12, 12A, or 12n— | matters. |
(a) a certificate signed by a licensing or police officer of the licensing district in which the premises, in respect of which the offence is alleged to have been committed, are situate, stating—
(i) that the defendant is the licensee or occupier of the promises or the person having control of the sale of liquar therein;
(ii) that the premises are licensed for the sate of intoxicating liquor or that intoxicating liquor is sold therein; or

(iii) that the promises are within the area specified in any order made in pursuance of the said regulations; and
(
b ) a certificate signed by a competent naval or military authority that any order purporting to have been made under regulation 12, 12A or 12n has been duly made,
shall be | the facts stated in the certificate. |
(2) No proof shall bo required of the signature, rank or official position of any person purporting to give a certificate in pursuance of this regulation.
