REGULATIONS UNDER THE WAR PRECAUTIONS ACT 1914-1916.

War Precautions Regulations 1915—Regulation 23b—Addition.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations, under the War Precautions Act 1914-1916, to come into operation forthwith.

War Precautions Regulations 1915.

Addition.

After regulation 23a of the War Precautions Regulations, the following regulation is inserted:—

Restriction of instruction in Wireless Telegraphy.

“23b. (1) No person not being a natural born British subject both of whose parents are natural born British subjects shall attend or be permitted to attend any school or class of instruction in Wireless Telegraphy.

(2) Provided however that in no case shall any person who or either of whose parents has at any time been a subject of a country with which the United Kingdom is now at war, attend or be permitted to attend any such school or class of instruction, and provided further that any person who or either of whose parents has at any time been a subject or a citizen as the case may be of a country which is an Ally of Great Britain in the present war or which has remained neutral during the present war may attend or be permitted to so attend if the permission in writing of the Naval Board be first obtained.”
