REGULATIONS UNDER THE WAR PRECAUTIONS ACT 1914–1916.

I, SIR ARTHUR STANLEY, Governor of the State or Victoria and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting as the Deputy of the Governor-General, in accordance with the provisions of theConstitution, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the War Precautions Act 1914–1916 to come into operation forthwith.

Amendment of War Precautions (Prices) Regulations 1916.

(Statutory Rules 1916, No. 155.)

1. Regulation 4 of the War Precautions (Prices) Regulations is amended by omitting from Sub-regulation (2) thereof the word “Board” (whenever it occurs) and inserting in its stead the word “Minister.”

2. Regulation 6 of the War Precautions (Prices) Regulations is amended by omitting therefrom Sub-regulation (2).

3. Regulation 11 of the War Precautions (Prices) Regulations is amended—

(a) by inserting in Sub-regulation (1) thereof—

(i) after the word “Board” (first occurring) the words “and each Commissioner”;

(ii) after the word “Board” (second occurring) the words “or the Commissioner”; and

(iii) after the word “Board” (last occurring) the words “or the Commissioner as the case may be”;

(b) by inserting after the word “Board” in Sub-regulation (2.) thereof the words “or a Commissioner”; and

(c) by omitting, from Sub-regulation (1) thereof, the words “of the Board”.

4. Regulation 12 of the War Precautions (Prices) Regulations is amended by inserting after the word “Board” (whenever occurring) the words “or a Commissioner”.

5. Regulation 13 of the War Precautions (Prices) Regulations is amended by inserting after the word “Board” the words “or a Commissioner”.

6. Regulation 14 of the War Precautions (Prices) Regulations in amended by inserting after the word “Board” the words “or a Commissioner”.
