STATUTORY RULES.
REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1917.

advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations
under the

Amendment to War Financial Regulations.
Regulation 1 of War Financial Regulations is amended as follows:—
Next after “Foreman Artificer (Mechanical Transport Unit)” is added—

Next after “Wheeler or Saddler Sergeant” is added—
“Blacksmith Sergeant, Ordnance Unit, 10s. 6d.”
Next after “Railway Unit.—Blacksmith, Fitter, Wagon Repairer, Boilermaker” is added—
“Ordnance Unit—Blacksmith, Fitter, Wheeler, 8s.”
Regulation 2 of War Financial Regulations is amended as follows:—

Next after “Farrier, Collarmaker, Wheeler or Saddler Sergeant” is added—

Next after “Railway Unit—Blacksmith, Fitter, Wagon Repairer, Boilermaker” is added—

Regulation 24 is repealed and the following regulation made in lieu thereof, to have effect as from the 8th June, 1917:—
“24.—When any member of the Australian Imperial Force is, on discharge from hospital abroad, granted ‘Sick Leave’ on the recommendation of the Director of Medical Services or of a Medical Officer duly authorized by him, he may, when rations and quarters, or allowance in lieu thereof, are not provided, be granted an allowance of four shillings (4s.) per diem for the period of such Sick Leave.”
