AN OKDINANCE

I To amend the Walter Oswald Watt Memorial Fund

Ordinance 1938.

BE it ordained by the Governor-General in and over the Executive Council, in pursuance of the powers conferred by the Commonwealth of Australia, with the advice of the Federal Seat of Government Acceptance Act 1909-1938 and the Seat of
•m Government (Administration) Act 1910-1933, as follows:'—

1.— (1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Walter Oswald suort title and

Watt Memorial Fund Ordinance 1939. cltatlon-

(2.) The Walter Oswald Watt Memorial Fund Ordinance 1938

is in this Ordinance referred to as the Principal Ordinance.

(3.) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordinance, may be cited as the Walter Oswald Watt Memorial Fund Ordinance 1938-1939.

2. Section two of the Principal Ordinance is amended by Definitions,

omitting the definition of " the Commandant".

3. Section three of the Principal Ordinance is amended— Application of
excess income.

(a) by omitting the words " the Commandant is satisfied

t h a t " ; and

(b) by omitting the words "he may expend the amount jof the excess income, or any part thereof," and inserting in their stead the words " the amount of the excess income, or any part thereof, may be expended ".
