AN ACT to enable portion of Reserve No. 14979 to be

excised therefrom and to compensate the Wagin

Water Board for such excision and for other purposes.

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

This Act may be cited as the Wagin Water Board (Reserve) Act, 1938. Short title.

That portion of reserve No. 14979 more particu- larly described in the Schedule to this Act within which	Excision of

a dam, known as the Badjarning Darn, is situate and which is now vested in the Wagin Water Board in trust under the provisions of the Land Act, 1898, for the pur- poses of water, is hereby excised from the said reserve to the intent that same may be vested in the Minister for Railways for the purposes of and incidental to a railway water supply.

effected by the said board on the said land so excised the Commissioner of Railways shall pay as part of his administration expenses the stun of three thousand three hundred and thirty-nine pounds nine shillings and six- pence ( g3,339 9s. 6d.) to the Wagin Water Board.

Application of 4 The moneys paid to the Wagin Water Board as compensation '

moneys by aforesaid shall be applied by that board towards the

Water Board ' redemption of debentures issued by the board in relation to moneys borrowed and used by the board in connection with the Badjarniug water scheme.
