| declare t h a t it was expedient to ca r ry ou t a cer ta in work , namely , | t h e |

s t a tu to ry d u t y was by t h e said A c t imposed on the Secre ta ry for Pub l ic Works to in t roduce a Bill into t h e said Assembly to sanct ion t h e car ry ing out of t he said work : Be it therefore enac ted by t h e K i n g ' s Most Exce l l en t Majesty , by and wi th t he advice and consent of t he Legislat ive Counci l and Legis la t ive Assembly of New South W a l e s in P a r l i a m e n t assembled, and by the a u t h o r i t y of t he same, as follows :—-
1 . This Ac t may be cited as t h e " W a g g a W a g g a Sewerage

| in t he Schedule to th i s Act ) is hereby sanc t ioned; | and t h e | Secre tary |
for Pub l i c W o r k s , or t h e m e m b e r of the Execu t ive Council for the t i m e be ing pe r fo rming the duties of the said Secretary, is hereby author ised to u n d e r t a k e and carry cu t the said works, subject to the

and counters igned by the Chief Engineer for I r r iga t ion and Dra inage ,

4 . The cost of car ry ing out t he said works , es t imated a t forty-six thousand six hundred pounds , may he defrayed from such loan votes as are now or may hereafter he appl icable to t h a t purpose , a n d shal l no t unde r any c i rcumstances exceed the es t imated cost by

SCHEDULE.
T H E construction of main and reticulation sewers, pumping stations, rising mains, and all other works incidental thereto, necessary for sewering the portion of the municipality of Wagga Wagga, included in sewerage districts Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, shown upon the plan.
The construction of works for the bacteriological treatment of sewage near the Murrumbidgee River, subject to such deviations, modifications, omissions, or extensions as may hereafter be deemed necessary.
