Preamble.

T T 7 HERE AS it is necessary for the safety of the public to confine

the driving of cattle and sheep intended for sale or slaughter through the town of Wagga Wagga to certain streets of the said town ; also to confine the driving of travelling stock through the said town of Wagga Wagga aforesaid to certain streets of the said tow n: Be it therefore enacted hy the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows ;—^

Short title.

1. This Act maybe cited as the “ Wagga M^agga Cattle Driving

Interpretation.

4. In the construction of this Act, the U'ord “ cattle” shall extend to and include bulls, cows, oxen, heifers, and steers, but shall not be held to apply to milch cows, or cattle in teams, or to working bullocks. The words “ travelling stock ” shall mean travelling stock of every description as defined by any Act or Acts regulating or controlling travelling stock in the State of New South Wales.
