By repealing paragraph ( b) of subsection one thereof and by inserting, in lieu of that repealed paragraph, the following paragraph :— “ ( b ) In writing, order the owner thereof— (i.) To destroy the scaffolding or gear or part of the scaffolding or gear in question ; or (ii.) To do such acts or things to such scaffolding or gear or part as will m the inspector’s opinion make such scaffolding, gear, or part either safe for the purposes for which it is intended to be used or incapable of further use.” ; and (ii.) (1.) This Act may be cited as “ The Wages Acts Short title. Amendment Act of 1954.” (2.) *“ The Wages Acts, 1918 to 1937,” are in this Act Principal referred to as the Principal Act. *c' (3.) The Principal Act and this Act may be Coiiectiv collectively cited as “ The Wages Acts, 1918 to 1954.” tlt6, 2.
