Wagering Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2014 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Wagering Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2014 . 2 Commencement This regulation is taken to have commenced on 1 July 2014. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Wagering Regulation 1999 . 4 Amendment of s 6 (Calculation and payment of wagering tax—Act, s 166) (1) Section 6(1)— omit, insert — For section 166(2)(a) of the Act, the percentage is 14%. (2) Section 6(1A), ‘20%’— omit, insert — 14% (3) Section 6— insert — (1B) For section 166(3) of the Act, the percentage is 10%. (4) Section 6(1A) to (2)— renumber as section 6(2) to (4).
