W.A. Marine (Court of Marine Inquiry)

Amendment Rules 2000

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

(a) by inserting before " "Act" " — " In these Rules — ";

1.            Citation

These rules may be cited as the W.A. Marine (Court of Marine
Inquhy) Amendment Rules 2000.

2.            The rules amended

The amendments in these rules are to the W.A. Marine (Court of Marine Inquiry) Rules*.

3.            Rule 2 amended

Rule 2 is amended as follows:

(b)	by deleting the definition of "Act";
(c)	at the end of the definition of "Court", by deleting the full stop and inserting instead a semicolon;
(d)	by deleting the definition of "Department".

4.           Various Part headings replaced

(1) The heading to Part I is deleted and the following heading is
inserted before rule 1 -

Part 1 - Preliminary ".

(2) The headings to the Parts listed in the first column of the Table
to this subrule are deleted and the headings set Out in the second
column of that Table are inserted instead -

(1) The heading "Inquiries." before rule 13 is deleted and the
following heading is inserted instead -

(2)	The heading "Appeals or References." before rule 15 is deleted and the following heading is inserted instead -
" Division 2 - Appeals or references ".
(3)	The following heading is inserted before rule 22 -

Division 1 - General ".

(4) The heading "Inquiries." before rule 23 is deleted and the
following heading is inserted instead -

Division 2 - Inquiries ".

(5)	The heading "Appeals or References." before rule 27 is deleted and the following heading is inserted instead —

6.            Various headings deleted

The headings, other than those referred to in rules 4 and 5 of these rules, immediately before each of the rules are deleted.
