4A. Unless otherwise set out in these regulations, the fees and charges in Schedule 1 are payable in relation to the matters associated with the fee or charge in that Schedule.

(b) The fee for annual and subsequent survey (Column 3)

shall be reduced by $64.00 if the vessel does not have a

radio installation;

(c) The fee for annual and subsequent survey (Column 3) provides for the survey and one further inspection to

clear a deficiency notice. When further inspections are necessary to complete the survey, an additional fee of $74.00 per visit will be charged;

(d)

Where an additional survey is carried out due to significant alterations to a vessel, the fee is one-half of the appropriate fee for a survey carried out during construction (Column 2).

2. Fees and charges for -

The charges for first examination of plans [items 2 (a) and 2 (c)] and the fees for checking stability data [items 2 (fl and 2 (g)] allow for returning plans/data to the applicant for one amendment. Where further amendment or checking is required, the charge for the surveyors time for checking, examining and approving plans or data is $80 per hour (or part thereof).

3.    The survey fee payable for vessels licensed under the WA Marine (Hire and Drive Vessels) Regulations 1983 shall be in accordance with the following scale -

(d) All other boats exceeding 5 metres in length (including

fees in accordance with the scale set out in item I
(a) of this Schedule.

4.    Annual exemption fee (regs. 10 and 10A) -

$

(a) For recording or transfer of vessel 15;
(b) For registration or renewal where the length of the
vessel -
(i) does not exceed 5 metres 30;
(ii) exceeds 5 metres but does not exceed 10 metres . . 60;
(iii) exceeds 10 metres but does not exceed 20 metres . 111;
(iv) exceeds 20 metres 151.

5.       Other fees and charges -

(a)

The charge for any other survey or service requested by the owner or owners agent is $105 per hour or part thereof.

(b) Where a surveyor is required to attend a vessel, site or
meeting, the charge payable by the applicant is $105.00

per working hour out of the office, together with all

reasonable travel expenses incurred by the surveyor.

(c)

In addition to the fees and charges set out in this Schedule, a charge of $66 per hour or part thereof shall be payable for any survey or service performed during overtime hours, Sundays or public holidays.

(d)

The charge for travel shall be 50cJkm, together with other associated travel costs.

(e)

Where a search of documentation is required, the charge is $50.00 per hour, with a minimum charge of $50.00.
