Art Act to further amend An Act to organize and establish a

Volunteer Militur9 Force in South Australia.

[Assented to, 17th October, 1860.;

W HEREAS by the Act No, 2, of 1854, it was amongst other Preamble-

things enacted, that it should be lawful. for the Governor from time to time, by Proclamation in the South Australian Government Gazette, to make and establish. rules and regulations which should have effect only when such force should be called out for training

and exercise for the maintenance of discipline in any Volunteer

Force to be raised under the authority of the said in part recited Act: And whereas it is desirable to enact that all the rules and regulations to be made by the Governor, for the regulation of the said Volunteer Force, shall have force and effect at other times than those provided by the said Act, No. 2, of 1854--Be it Enacted, by the Governor-in- Chief of the Province of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the said Province, in this present Parliament assembled, as follows:

under the authority of the said Act or this Act, may be sued for and recovered in any Court having jurisdiction to the full amount of the penalties, and all such suits may be prosecuted by such person or - persons as the Governor may direct.
