vice and consent of the 1,egisltttive Council and House of Assembly of
the said Province, in t h i ~ present Parliament assembled, as follows:

and accoutrements as the members of the several troops or com-
panies who shall so enrol themselves shall respectively determime.

the same exemptions, imaimitia, and privileges, as the volunteers enrolled under the pmdthns of the before-mentioned Acts: Yr+ vided always, that no pemm shall be enrolled as volunteers, as aforesaid, until ehe d e s and regulations,' made as aforesaid, shall have been approved by the Governor, and that no ofliosr to be appointed as aforesaid shall have command over the volunteers herein authorized to be raised, or shall have any rank or authority, till his appointment shall have been confirmed by the Governor: Provided also, that the Governor shall be authorized to appoint any person to inspect such volunteers, at %ay meeting held by them, for W1 practice or other purpose.

In case of invasion 3. Notwithstanding the provisions of this Act, the volunteers to Province by any Foreign Power, or the imminent danger of such invasion, be subject to all such rdes and regulations as shall be established for the governance of the said Volunteer Military Force of the said Province, by virtue of the said Act No. 2 of 1854, and shall be in all respects placed on the same footing as the volunteers enrolled under the provisions of the said lastmentioned Act,

oath of allegiance. 4. Every volunteer, who may be enrolled under the authority of this Act, shall, on being enrolled, take the following oath, to be t&miniatered by any Jnstice of the Peace for the said Province :-

I, A.B., do sincerely promise and swear, that I will be faithful,

and bear true allegiance to Her Majesty, Her heirs, and suc-

cesssors, and that I will faithfully serve in the Volunteer Force of the Province of South Australia, under the provisions of the Aux~ia ry Volunteer Act of 1860, for the defence of the said Pro- vince, until incapacitated by age, infirmity, or otherwise, unless I shall sower resign, be discharged, or quit. the said Province.

5. It shall be lawful for the Governw at any time to disband any corps raised under the authority of this Act, by Proclamation in the Governme2ct Gazette, and from the date of such Proclamation d1 exem tims, immueities, a d privileges conferred by this Act npon such pi olunteers, shall cease and determim; Provided always, that all persons who shall have completed the full term of three years' service
